Do not be deceived by possibly incorrect first impressions!  Yes, I may appear to be tough on the outside because I am shy at first, but I am honest, genuine, warm and sensitive on the inside and full of surprises!  Although I like to get to know some things about someone before I open up to them, as I tend to be an observer, I can be quite outgoing once I get there.  I love the basic necessities of life:  my friends, my dog, a great steak, a hot bike, rock n' roll and football!  Not a real girly-girl, I can tumble with the best of 'em!  Personally, I'd rather have a BBQ in the backyard with friends, a beer and play a round of poker any day over going out to the bars and nightclubs.  I do enjoy a romantic evening out now and then, but prefer the privacy of more intimate settings.  The person for me will enjoy my off-beat sense of humor and keep me guessing with theirs.  I would most enjoy the company of someone who is not pretentious, too self-conscious or demanding.  Someone who can think for themselves, is handy with tools, laid back and not in a hurry to get anywhere anytime too soon.
